HWS Infra has extensive experience in design, supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of bulk and distribution pipeline network for domestic and industrial water supply, treating water for reuse from sewage, effluent, irrigation, institutional, power etc. It has achieved a leading position and already laid more than 10,000 kilometers of pipeline upto 3000 mm diameters in different geographical regions of India.

It has developed expertise for both the business and technical management of large pipe networks with planning, laying and managing cross-country pipelines of any length and size (upto 4000 mm diameter) in all terrain conditions for drinking water, wastewater, irrigation, power and flood water transportation and management.

Project Highlights

Area covered: Haldia city of about 11000 hectares spreading across 5 assembly constituencies. Population served: Over 250,000 population with Bulk Water to Municipal Corporation which serves around 50,000 house hold connections.Customers: Domestic, Commercial and predominantly Industries viz. Haldia Petrochemcial, Indian Oil, MCPI, Tata Power, Emami Agro, Electro steel, Kolkata Port Trust etc.

Social Activities

Convincing households to apply for legal connection and avail amnesty on their unauthorized connection.Conducting events targeting school children (e.g. safe water) .Scheduling water connection camps in consultation with local community, Resident welfare associations and political figureheads. Water meter installation drives by sensitizing the community on its benefits and allaying apprehensions, if anyGrievance redressal cell.
