Irrigation

Water is an essential requirement for agriculture and important to produce food for human being. In India, more than 80% of the water we take from ground and other sources goes into irrigation. Agricultural crops completely depends on water, purposely adding water beyond what naturally falls as rain is widely practiced to increase agricultural production.

HWS  Infra provides services in a number of areas including construction of dams, canals, lift irrigation, micro irrigation and tunneling. It has constructed large dams in the water supply and irrigation sector including constructing diversion tunnels, intake and de-silting, electro-mechanical works and associated civil works such as powerhouse, power tunnels, power intake and spillways.HWS  Infra has also designed and executed canals, lift irrigation and micro irrigation schemes for bulk water transmission providing water for agricultural purposes with the goal of providing increased irrigation benefits to small and marginal farmers.
